What if my contact information changes and I need to update my account?

It is your responsibility to keep your contact information current. You can add to or change your information at any time by signing into your account and making the needed changes.

I agree to allow the Comox Valley Regional District, City of Courtenay, Town of Comox, Village of Cumberland and Comox Valley Emergency Program to contact me by phone or text message regarding emergency events. I may withdraw my consent/unsubscribe at any time by signing in to my account and choosing 'Close Account' under the Account Settings tab, or if I need assistance by contacting the Comox Valley Regional District at 250-334-6000 or by email at cvep@shaw.ca.

This personal information is being collected under the authority of section 26(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. It will be used to contact you in case of an emergency event occurring in the area in which you live. It will not be used or disclosed for other purposes. The following clauses apply to SMS sent to you by Comox Valley Regional District using Connect Rocket's platform:

  1. To receive SMS you need to opt-in and agree to receive text message alerts.
  2. The frequency with which SMS is sent may vary.
  3. Message and data rates may apply.
  4. To stop receiving SMS (opt-out) text STOP or ARRET.
